The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable applications, as well as supporting technical decisions and mentoring within the team. **Responsibilities** * Develop and maintain backend APIs and services using Python. * Ensure code quality through automated testing, code reviews, and engineering best practices. * Participate in architecture discussions, proposing scalable and secure solutions. * Support the definition of development standards and technical documentation. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, QA, product) to deliver end-to-end solutions. * Guide and support junior developers on the team. **Mandatory Requirements** * Solid experience with Python (\>= 5 years). * Experience with web frameworks such as **Django, Flask, or FastAPI**. * Knowledge of **REST API design**. * Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB, Redis). * Strong knowledge of **automated testing** (pytest, unittest). * Experience in **cloud environments (AWS)** and with **containers (Docker, Kubernetes)**. * Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, Nats). * Knowledge of observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana). * Experience with agile practices (Scrum/Kanban). **Qualifications** ------------------ **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with high-scale systems and large data volumes. * Contributions to open-source projects or the Python community. **Expected Profile** * Proactive in proposing technical solutions. * Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across different areas. * Systemic vision to balance technical quality, performance, and delivery timelines. **Additional Information** -------------------------- At Serasa Experian, we believe diversity is fundamental to creating a healthier and more innovative workplace where everyone can share experiences and express their ideas.
