We are seeking a **Warehouse Keeper**, whose mission will be to **plan, guide, and oversee warehouse operations—including unloading, receiving, inspection, storage, picking, and dispatch of various inventory items—while handling flammable and chemical products.**
**Responsibilities and Duties**
As a **Warehouse Keeper**, you will be responsible for:
* Directing unloaded materials to inspection bays, performing identification and appropriate placement to ensure ergonomically feasible inspections;
* Storing items in inventory following the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principle, preserving their identification, proper placement according to packaging standards, and maintaining the 5S methodology at the storage location during material allocation;
* Conducting inventories of items to be moved, ensuring preservation of packaging and adherence to the 5S methodology at the location during material picking;
* Transporting and maintaining identified items—with preserved packaging—in designated bays for end-user customers during material dispatch;
* Receiving, storing, and disposing of Class I A, I, and II B waste;
* Operating forklifts ranging from 1.6 to 7 tons for unloading, storage, picking, and dispatch of materials;
* Accurately recording material issue transactions;
* Ensuring proper storage and handling conditions for all stored/moved materials to prevent deterioration and loss;
* Inspecting, examining, and reporting material non-conformities to the Supervisor;
* Using all PPE specified in the Warehouse Synoptic Chart;
* Fully complying with all Warehouse Operational Procedures (PRO) and Hidrovias do Brasil’s safety regulations;
* Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse;
* Keeping supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas clean per safety rules;
* Performing other related duties as assigned by your immediate supervisor;
* Conducting land-based fuel supply activities;
* Performing fuel tank sounding;
* Receiving fuel into the ground storage tank;
* Knowing and applying SSMA (Safety, Security, Health, and Environment) norms and procedures;
* Fully complying with all Warehouse Operational Procedures (PRO);
* Knowing and applying SSMA (Safety, Security, Health, and Environment) norms and procedures.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
You must have:
* Completed high school education
It is a plus if you have:
* Technical course in logistics
* Experience in this role
* Experience in warehousing, inventory management, or logistics
* Driver’s license Category B
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.
