**Responsibilities Description – Senior Tax Advisory Planning Analyst** The **Senior Tax Advisory Planning Analyst** is responsible for strategically and analytically interpreting and applying tax legislation, providing consultative support to the company's business areas. Their primary objective is to ensure the correct tax classification of operations, propose solutions that guarantee compliance and tax efficiency, and mitigate tax risks through technical analyses and specialized opinions. **Main Responsibilities** * Provide **consultative and strategic** interpretation of tax legislation (federal, state, and municipal), guiding internal departments on the proper application of regulations. * Prepare **technical tax opinions and tax inquiries** regarding complex operations, new products, contracts, and corporate projects. * Conduct **tax impact analyses** arising from changes in legislation and company operations. * Propose **lawful and structured tax planning**, aiming for tax efficiency and risk reduction. * Support business units, controlling, accounting, and legal departments in **strategic decision-making** based on tax analysis. * Monitor **tax audits and inspections**, providing technical justification and supporting documentation. * Evaluate **tax inquiries and assessments**, participating in the development of defenses and mitigation strategies. * Conduct **comparative studies of tax regimes** and identify opportunities for tax incentives. * Prepare **executive reports and opinions** for management, consolidating tax analyses and recommendations. * Monitor **case law, administrative rulings, and tax trends**, anticipating risks and opportunities. * Support the **development and updating of internal tax policies**, ensuring alignment with corporate governance and best compliance practices. **Desired Profile and Competencies** * In-depth knowledge of **Brazilian tax legislation** and **direct and indirect taxes** (IRPJ, CSLL, PIS, COFINS, ICMS, ISS). * Strong analytical skills and ability to prepare **technical opinions with strategic vision**. * Experience with **corporate transactions, restructurings, and special tax regimes**. * Continuously updated on **legislative and judicial changes**. * Strong technical communication and argumentation skills, with a consultative and collaborative approach. * Proficiency in **ERP systems** and tax control and analysis tools. * Ethical conduct, confidentiality, and focus on **compliance and tax risk mitigation**.
