**Responsibilities and Duties**
Operate Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTPs) using various technologies and scales, including stabilization ponds, activated sludge systems, anaerobic reactors, septic tanks with filters, compact treatment systems, biodigesters, and sludge dewatering units, among others.
Collect samples, perform laboratory analyses, and interpret the results.
Receive chemical products and complete control forms.
Adjust process parameters as needed, performing field operations or operating automated systems.
Identify operational issues and propose practical solutions.
Prepare detailed technical reports.
Host and guide technical and school visits, presenting the wastewater treatment process with emphasis on environmental education.
Receive and supervise service providers, suppliers, and contracted interventions.
Coordinate and interact with regulatory agencies.
Represent the Company at external events.
Monitor equipment operation and operational parameters.
Monitor operation and parameters of electromechanical equipment; request maintenance when necessary, following internal procedures; identify and diagnose failures to ensure continuity and safety of treatment processes.
Perform other tasks related to those described above, as determined by the organization and under guidance from the immediate supervisor.
Drive company vehicles to carry out assigned tasks, ensuring safety, compliance with traffic regulations, and vehicle maintenance (Driver’s License Category B).

Education: Technical degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related fields.
