




Job Summary: Professional to handle, load, and unload baggage and cargo on aircraft, ensuring safety and efficiency of airport operations. Key Highlights: 1. Coordination and marshalling of equipment in the airport ramp area Description: * Completed high school education; * Good interpersonal communication skills; * Analytical ability to assess situations; * Stress resistance; Physical requirements include broad and fine motor coordination, dexterity, articulation of upper and lower limbs, bipedal posture for performing duties, trunk rotation and flexion, physical effort, and walking throughout the entire operational area. Sensory requirements include visual acuity for moving baggage from conveyor belts to transport equipment, tarmac navigation, loading and unloading of aircraft with luggage and cargo, signaling around the flight being serviced, floor inspection and scanning to collect fallen objects, and auditory perception to identify audible signals from equipment and machinery on the apron. Neuropsychic requirements include attention, concentration, organizational skills, data interpretation, and initiative to resolve causal situations. * Safeguard the aircraft during arrivals and departures; * Inspect and safeguard baggage and cargo labels; * Place and remove wheel chocks and cones on aircraft according to the Client’s Manual or dnata’s MGO; * Through reading baggage and cargo identification labels (with or without technological assistance), segregate items in airport sorting areas to ensure loading into storage devices (carts and/or ULDs) for correct flights; * Stow baggage and cargo in aircraft holds following norms and procedures outlined in the MGO, adhering to recommendations for special handling situations (fragile, dangerous, live animals, perishable cargo); * Through reading volume identification labels, perform baggage and cargo unloading and place them at designated locations (baggage reclaim carousels); * Segregate baggage and cargo during aircraft unloading to facilitate flight connections by reading volume identification labels; * Inspect and supervise cargo and baggage packaging to verify proper suitability for transport, ensuring flight and handler safety; * Correctly handle and properly allocate baggage and cargo within holds, observing internal retention and hold height safety limits; * Unload wheelchairs or baby strollers and place them at designated locations; * Perform equipment marshalling during coupling procedures with aircraft to prevent collisions with the fuselage; * Service aircraft within established timeframes per service type and airport classification; * Conduct checklists on non-motorized equipment to ensure operational safety and report equipment requiring repairs to the GSE Technical maintenance team; * Report any equipment irregularities during operations to supervisors. 2511020202231568564
