We seek a professional with strategic vision, strong relational skills, and experience in resource mobilization and partnerships, committed to sociocultural impact, governance, and sustainability. The candidate will join the Institutional Relations and Sustainability department, collaborating with the Executive Directorate and other strategic areas of the British Council to support financial sustainability, institutional positioning, and the expansion of the organization’s socio-environmental and cultural impact. **Responsibilities and duties** * Collaborate with the Executive Directorate, engaging internal leadership and creative teams in institutional planning, defining strategic guidelines, and formulating policies for resource mobilization, partnerships, and institutional relations. * Plan and implement resource acquisition strategies targeting national and international public and private entities, including prospecting, negotiation, formalization, monitoring of partnerships, contract management, counterparty obligations, and relationship programs such as Alumni and others to be developed. * Engage with the institution’s socio-environmental and cultural projects, as well as with prospecting, curation, programming, and operational area guidelines, ensuring that institutional development strategies respect artistic, conceptual, and programming integrity, translating projects and programs into clear, consistent, and high-quality institutional narratives. * Collaborate with Communications and Marketing departments to develop institutional materials, proposals, presentations, and impact reports; represent the institution at meetings, forums, and strategic events, as requested by the Executive Directorate. * Integrate principles of governance, ESG, diversity, equity, and socio-environmental responsibility into institutional development strategies, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation, internal regulations, and ethical standards, and supporting accountability and institutional transparency processes. * Develop and monitor performance indicators, institutional intelligence tools, and work cross-functionally with other departments, leading strategic initiatives focused on institutional strengthening, innovation in partnership models, and expansion of socio-cultural and environmental impact. **Requirements and qualifications** * Completed undergraduate degree, preferably in Administration, International Relations, Communications, Social Sciences, Cultural Management, Economics, Law, or related fields.
