We are seeking a qualified MIG and TIG Welder for fabrication, assembly, and repair of metal structures and components, interpreting drawings and ensuring quality.

We are looking for a qualified MIG and TIG Welder to work on the fabrication, assembly, and repair of metal structures, industrial components, and parts made of carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. The professional will be responsible for interpreting technical drawings, performing cuts, preparing surfaces, executing precise welds, and ensuring dimensional and visual quality of weld beads and finishes, in accordance with technical and safety standards.
Main Responsibilities
* Perform MIG/MAG and TIG welding processes on different materials (carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum).
* Interpret and apply technical drawings, WPS (Welding Procedure Specification), and welding symbols.
* Prepare joints, adjust welding machines, and select appropriate shielding gases, electrodes, and filler wires.
* Perform cutting, grinding, and finishing of parts.
* Ensure dimensional and visual quality of welds to avoid rework.
* Comply with occupational safety regulations (NR-18, NR-35, use of PPE).
* Support material control and organization within the welding department.
Requirements
* Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding.
* Knowledge of reading and interpreting technical drawings and welding symbols.
* Basic understanding of metallurgy applied to welding (distortions, thermal expansion, cracks).
* Proficiency in using grinders, angle grinders, and auxiliary equipment.
* Familiarity with applicable technical standards (e.g., ABNT, AWS).
* Welding qualification course or certification preferred.
Advantages
