This position is strategic in ensuring data flows with quality, security, and availability across company departments—enabling everything from insight generation to enterprise-scale AI usage. This professional will lead data engineering and BI professionals working across various business squads. **Key Responsibilities:** * Serve as the technical and strategic focal point for data projects, collaborating with multiple company areas (business, IT, etc.). * Define and execute the vision and strategy for data architecture and engineering, aligning them with the company’s business objectives. * Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data engineers and BI specialists, fostering a high-performance and innovative environment. * Collaborate with the data architecture team to build the corporate data architecture, ensuring efficient ingestion, transformation, quality, and exposure of data. * Define and implement sound data governance practices—including data cataloging, quality, access policies, compliance, and lineage. * Collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders to identify data needs and support decision-making with relevant insights. * Ensure performance and availability of data for BI and advanced analytics platforms, promoting data democratization and business autonomy in using information. * Work closely with IT, Analytics, Product, Industrial, and Commercial teams, operating within distributed squads. * Support the development of data lakes, data warehouses, and semantic layers—designed for both corporate consumption and AI and Machine Learning initiatives. * Clearly and concisely communicate progress, challenges, and outcomes of data initiatives to various organizational levels. * Promote a data-driven culture and the use of analytics to enhance processes and decisions across the company. **Desired Profile:** * Proven experience as a data manager or technical leader, with cross-functional involvement in engineering, BI, and governance. * Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills, with a focus on scalable and efficient solutions.
