**Job Description** **This position requires on-site work in Contagem, Minas Gerais.** **Who will you work with?** You will work with the team responsible for developing the TCOS-Office applications at Wabtec Brasil, covering all software components of the train dispatching system for railway control and operations centers managing freight transportation networks. The system grants operating licenses for trains, authorizes train entry onto tracks, displays real-time train positioning across the entire network, reports maintenance-related and track-closure events, and enables real-time messaging between the control center and locomotives. **How will you make a difference?** We are seeking a software development professional passionate about joining our team and contributing to the development of our solutions. The ideal candidate has experience in C#, VB.NET, .NET Core, and related frameworks, as well as front-end experience (Angular, REST). **As a member of the Office Software Engineering team, you will be responsible for:** * Assisting in the conception, implementation, infrastructure, and scaling of software applications developed by the TCOS-Office Brazil group; * Collaborating on software architecture, design, and development; systems analysis; QA; and DevOps; * Analyzing, documenting, and re-implementing legacy software using a decentralized architecture; * Analyzing business requirements and translating them into innovative technical solutions; * Developing and maintaining applications using C++, VB.NET, C# .NET, and Angular; * Creating intuitive and responsive user interfaces using modern front-end technologies; * Collaborating on unit and integration testing to ensure code quality; * Working collaboratively within a team, partnering with other developers and stakeholders; * Keeping up with the latest trends in software development and proposing continuous improvements; * Participating in design review meetings to ensure source code quality and suitability; * Taking ownership of pull request validation; * Providing support to less experienced developers. **What do we want to know about you?** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields; * Extensive front-end development experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React, Angular, REST, or Vue.js); * Experience in Software Development (.NET, C# – full stack); * Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle); * Experience integrating applications and processes (Socket, API, etc.) in distributed solutions; * Interest in identifying and implementing new technologies aligned with business needs; * Experience with Agile methodology (Scrum) and its ceremonies; * Knowledge of cybersecurity in applications. **Additionally, the following are desirable:** * Experience with Azure DevOps for integrating requirements with test cases; * Knowledge of microservices; * Experience in designing and implementing SOA architectures; * Knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure), SaaS; * Knowledge of requirements documentation, use cases, and story writing; * Portuguese (participation in client and third-party meetings when required); * General knowledge of software development documentation (descriptive memoranda, architecture, specifications, user manuals, etc.); * Experience with software solutions applied to process industries; * Experience with railway information systems; * Experience with client-server architecture. **Benefits:** At Wabtec, people come first.
