Job Summary: A professional responsible for receiving, handling, and expediting materials, ensuring warehouse organization, accuracy, and safety. Key Highlights: 1. Receiving and organizing materials with verification and systematic recording. 2. Operating forklifts for material handling and storage. 3. Focus on safety, cleanliness, and continuous process improvement. · Perform physical and system-based material receipt, verifying quantity, weight, type, dimensions, and condition. · Record material movements in the system (ERP/WMS or internal control), ensuring traceability and accuracy. · Conduct cycle counts and support full inventory execution, reporting discrepancies. · Manage and organize warehouse layout, adhering to identification, traceability, and FIFO principles where applicable. · Pick, verify, and prepare materials for shipment according to orders, work orders, and invoices. · Assist in vehicle loading, ensuring proper load distribution, securing, and packaging. · Verify transportation documentation (invoices, manifests, shipping orders), identifying and reporting inconsistencies. · Ensure on-time delivery by aligning with the logistics planning of the department. · Operate forklifts (LPG, electric, and/or reach) for loading, unloading, handling, and storing steel products, in compliance with NR-11. · Inspect equipment before use, documenting and reporting faults or maintenance needs. · Respect equipment capacity limits and established traffic flow paths. · Strictly comply with occupational safety regulations, using appropriate PPE for each task. · Maintain an organized and clean workplace, following the 5S program standards. · Report any discrepancies, damages, non-conformities, or identified risks to the responsible department. Contribute improvement suggestions for processes, aiming at productivity and waste reduction.
