Description

Job Summary: Responsible for analyzing, proposing changes to, and balancing production lines to improve productivity and reduce operator fatigue, as well as defining industrial routing times. Key Highlights: 1. Industrial process analysis and optimization for increased productivity. 2. Proposal of improvements in production flow and layout. 3. Participation in continuous improvement projects (Kaizen). Responsible for analyzing, preparing graphical representations and tables, and conducting time studies in the industrial area of medium complexity, ensuring efficiency while proposing modifications to production and material flow, layout, and machine loading—aiming to balance production lines, increase productivity, reduce operator fatigue, and define routing times. **Responsibilities and Duties** Assist in timing production activities with manufacturing areas to detect, update, and/or suggest corrections/changes to work methods. Advise on the need for timing and/or task reporting in manufacturing to update time standards. Develop process diagrams specifying the sequence of task execution (man/machine). Propose new methods and/or adjustments to time standards and hourly production rates, monitor their implementation, and update them via the system. Calculate manufacturing time reporting data and generate time tables. Analyze product characteristics and correlate manufacturing times, creating time history records per product. Implement manufacturing routings, defining operation sequences, times, and specifications. Identify equipment utilization rates and describe operational phases and materials used, providing support to management for decision-making and/or employee training. Perform other related tasks as requested by superiors.
