**Responsibilities and Duties** **Position: Assistant Coach (Opposite) \- Minas Tênis Clube**
Minas Tênis Clube seeks a highly qualified Assistant Coach to join its coaching staff. The professional will support the senior team and develop talent from the youth academy, contributing to maintaining the Club’s high standards of sports performance.
**Main Responsibilities:**

* **Support for the Senior Team (Opposite):** Assist the Head Coach (Opposite Coach) during training sessions and in the technical and tactical management of the elite team.
* **Youth Athlete Development:** Ensure implementation of a standardized training methodology (for the opposite position) that facilitates continuous athlete progression and transition from the youth academy to the senior team. Assist in training Minas Tênis Clube youth athletes by delivering fundamentals, advanced tactics, and techniques of the sport.
* **Competition Preparation:** Prepare athletes to achieve results and high performance in competitions and championships at all levels (municipal, state, national, and international).
* **Performance Analysis and Individual Development:**
* Conduct in-depth analysis of athletes’ technical, tactical, and behavioral (individual and collective) performance.
* Identify deficiencies and develop specific, individualized training and development programs.
* Ensure athletes become well-rounded and meet the requirements of the team and elite-level sport.
**Requirements and Qualifications** **Requirements and Qualifications:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, with active registration at the Regional Council of Physical Education (CREF);
* Provisional and active registration in the specific sport with the Regional Council of Physical Education (CREF) and the Brazilian Volleyball Confederation (CBV).
* Proven experience in elite-level volleyball, serving as: Technical Assistant for senior teams (opposite position) or Youth Academy Coach;
* Prior experience in youth categories and athlete development;
* Participation in elite national and/or international competitions;
* Advanced knowledge of technical, tactical, physical, behavioral, and methodological aspects applied to elite volleyball;
* Leadership ability and group management skills in a high-performance environment;
* Experience in planning and conducting training sessions, competitions, and sports season management;
* Availability for national and international travel;
* Proficiency in performance analysis tools and statistics applied to volleyball.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience as Assistant Coach (Opposite) or Youth Academy Coach;
* Participation in: Superliga, South American Championships, or FIVB Club World Championship;
* History as a former athlete;
* Courses and certifications offered by: CBV; State Federations; FIVB; COB;
* Language proficiency: English;
* Experience managing multidisciplinary coaching staff;
* Knowledge of: sports management; people leadership; human development; organizational culture building;
* Ability to collaborate closely with: physical preparation and performance analysis departments.
