




Job Summary: A professional to evaluate and assist patients with speech-language pathology needs, deliver therapies, and enhance communication-related aspects. Key Highlights: 1. Participate in admission workshops and transitional care Position: SUNTOR Unit Evaluate patients upon admission within 24 business hours and determine appropriate food consistency, if feasible. Assess communication abilities, speech, voice, and orofacial muscle integrity. Assist all patients with speech-language pathology needs according to the internal scale. Conduct therapies (habilitation and rehabilitation) and improve speech-language pathology aspects related to oral and written language, voice, fluency, articulation, speech, and orofacial, cervical, and swallowing myofunctional systems, as applicable. Participate in admission workshops and provide transitional care to patients and their families. Perform teaching, research, and administrative duties specific to the position. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology; * Active professional registration with the Regional Council of Speech-Language Pathology; * Prior experience in this role; * Postgraduate training in hospital settings and/or Hospital Residency in Speech-Language Pathology is desirable.
