Job Summary: A professional responsible for laying, correcting, and adapting optical, metallic, and coaxial cables; installing hardware; pruning trees; erecting poles; and excavating trenches, all in compliance with safety regulations. Key Highlights: 1. Handling and installation of various types of telecommunications cables. 2. Working with network infrastructure, including poles and trenches. 3. Focus on workplace safety and proper use of tools. * Lay and correct optical, metallic, and coaxial cables in aerial and underground networks. * Equip or adapt cables (aerial or underground) according to technical project specifications. * Install hardware on poles for cable fixation. * Lay steel or dielectric messenger wires to support telecommunications cables. * Perform aerial cable lashing (securing). * Prune trees along public roads to prevent cable breakage. * Erect poles for telecommunications or electrical networks, including on-site excavation. * Inspect structural conditions of installed poles. * Install or replace cables (underground or aerial) during network expansion or fault repair. * Use appropriate tools safely and precisely for each task. * Excavate and backfill trenches for civil works, sidewalks, and public roads. * Receive, apply, and record usage of materials consumed during operations. * Safeguard personal physical integrity and maintain machinery and equipment. * Strictly comply with **occupational safety** regulations and procedures.
