




**Description:** Qualification Specialist – Santa Lúcia Unit **Salary:** R$2,315.48 + benefits **Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 10:00–19:00; Saturday, 08:00–12:00 **Required:** Completed high school education **Desirable (advantage for candidate, not mandatory for hiring):** Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; desirable: surgical instrumentation training and experience in the role or experience in the operating room. Inspect orthopedic materials before, during, and after surgical procedures and verify with the surgeon whether any component requires repair. Maintain the qualification sector organized, prioritizing exchanges and restocking, acting promptly and communicatively to resolve issues within institutional parameters and adhering to quality-related process standards. Restocking will be managed by the OPME department; replenish implant trays, preparing them for sterilization; immediately notify supervisors of the CME, Operating Room, and OPME departments if any material requires repair and/or replacement; review the surgical schedule the day prior to confirm all materials requested by the medical team; if any unassigned material is identified, alert the OPME department for verification. Trays must not be sealed if any item is missing—for example, components or screws; during verification of materials used in surgery, examine the patient’s postoperative X-ray, displayed on the operating room sheet, to confirm implanted devices used for subsequent requisition; always verify unassigned materials, documenting their entry and exit; it is the Qualification Specialist’s responsibility to review the surgical schedule one day prior to scheduled procedures together with the CME and Operating Room nursing supervisors, and to confirm that materials/instruments supplied by third-party vendors have arrived and will be prepared for surgery the following day; upon conclusion of the shift, verification responsibility transfers to the orthopedic nursing technician or another CME nursing team member; all tasks described apply equally to orthopedic instruments and neurosurgical materials, both supplied to the OPME department by third-party vendors. It is the Qualification Specialist’s responsibility to maintain workplace organization; read, send, and respond to emails; dispatch and document damaged instruments to vendors for replacement; participate in training sessions; participate in quality processes; receive materials from suppliers; return materials to suppliers; archive and organize documents as needed; participate in and suggest improvements to quality tools, verification procedures, POP (Standard Operating Procedure) implementation, risk management, and process mapping; comply with safety regulations, environmental controls, other internal policies, and applicable legislation relevant to assigned duties; perform other similar tasks as directed by management. 2512110202491913530
