Job Summary:
Professional responsible for organizing legal documentation, advising on risk identification and control, investigating accidents, and inspecting safety equipment.
Key Highlights:

**Responsibilities:**
* Organize, control, and issue all required legal documentation (accident investigation and analysis, statistics, EPI distribution records, and inspection records) to comply with applicable legislation;
* Advise coordination teams on risk identification and control, accident and near-miss investigations and analysis, promotion of proper use of collective protective equipment, and elimination of unsafe conditions;
* Support internal occupational accident prevention committees across Units as needed to ensure effective implementation of committee actions aimed at preventing occupational accidents and diseases;
* Conduct technical investigation and evaluation of accidents, incidents, and unsafe conditions occurring within the Unit, including interviewing involved personnel, performing measurements, collecting materials for analysis, in order to identify root causes and prevent recurrence;
* Review third-party work permit requests for the Unit, completing the appropriate form with identification of personnel and services to be performed, work location, tools and materials to be used, and providing safety information and instructions, thereby enabling proper authorization;
* Analyze and evaluate personal protective equipment, verifying origin, quality, resistance, variety, and user comfort, and issuing purchase requests;
* Periodically inspect fire-fighting equipment, assessing sizing, placement, validity period, and physical condition, to arrange replacements, relocations, and/or exchanges;
* Identify, classify, and train personnel on chemical hazard communication, establishing procedures and containment standards for leakage incidents;
* Prepare reports on all activities conducted by the company’s safety department, and perform other duties relevant to the position.
**Requirements:**
Completed Technical Course in Occupational Safety
Experience in mining, mobilization, and construction site operations.
Residence in Itabirito
