Description: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy Active and up-to-date registration with the Regional Pharmacy Council Proficiency in the full Microsoft Office suite * Provide technical guidance to pharmacy staff during medication and medical supply dispensing, as well as to other healthcare professionals—including physicians, nurses, and nursing technicians—regarding dosage, dosing regimen, stability, route of administration, indications, and adverse effects; * Evaluate, when necessary, requests for non-standardized or restricted-use medications, approving or querying the requester regarding the actual necessity of the respective medication; * Guide pharmacy assistants in diluting germicidal agents (antiseptics, detergents, disinfectants, etc.) when required; * Guide pharmacy assistants in subdividing tablets into pediatric doses (medicated paper); * Guide and supervise the logistics process for medications and medical supplies—from order replenishment point, receipt, verification, unit-dose packaging, storage, to distribution (dispensing); * Identify needs, develop, and deliver technical training related to medications and pharmacy processes, aiming to align and ensure quality in procedures and workflows; * Develop and revise procedural and routine manuals, training and supervising healthcare professionals on their implementation; * Support regulatory inspections conducted by oversight bodies—including the Regional Pharmacy Council and Sanitary Surveillance; * Monitor and control pharmacy inventory, guiding pharmacy assistants in related tasks: define inventory strategy, establishing number of days’ stock and its monetary value; monitor inventory volume for high-value items and those with high consumption rates, as well as for sporadically used items; track expiration dates via reports, participating in and/or overseeing physical inventory counts and analyzing items with greatest discrepancies to identify solutions; establish reorder points for each material/medication in stock; * Prepare staff scheduling for clinical units and specific departments whenever necessary—e.g., inventory control, supply replenishment, and dispensing; * Monitor and guide pharmacy assistants regarding adherence to work schedules, attendance, and shift swaps; * Maintain updated knowledge of legislation applicable to hospital pharmacy, ensuring compliance with legal requirements; * Conduct active surveillance for adverse drug reactions according to pharmacovigilance methodology; * Perform technical prescription review, assessing compatibility between medications and diluents, verifying whether doses conform to protocols outlined in medical progress notes and fall within therapeutic concentration ranges, then validating and releasing prescriptions for preparation; * Monitor notifications of technical complaints regarding medications and medical supplies, notifying involved parties when necessary and proceeding with product suspension per criteria established by the Pharmacovigilance and Technovigilance Department; * Participate in multidisciplinary committees to drive continuous improvement in processes and procedures; * Participate in bed-rounds, proposing interventions in medical prescriptions when necessary; * Supervise and mentor multiprofessional residents as preceptors and/or tutors; * Participate in developing clinical protocols; * Periodically review the medication and medical supply standardization list of the Santa Casa Group; * Prepare medications, ensuring compliance with Good Practices for Handling Chemotherapeutic Agents per RDC 220/04 and RDC 67/2007, and guaranteeing appropriate use of medications and supplies during preparation to minimize waste and optimize resource utilization; * Maintain organization and control of inventory designated for preparation, as well as control over processes within the vial-washing and preparation rooms, adhering to Good Preparation Practices; * Support immediate supervisors on matters inherent to the pharmacist’s area of responsibility, proposing solutions to problems and irregularities to inform decision-making and assist in pursuing continuous improvement of departmental processes; * Perform other tasks of similar nature and complexity level upon request from the immediate supervisor. 2512050202181904778
