Job Summary: A Grader Operator is responsible for ensuring proper ground leveling, guiding machinery, performing site markings, and interpreting topographic drawings. Key Highlights: 1. Level control to achieve the correct ground elevation 2. Machine guidance for soil cutting or filling 3. Interpretation of engineering drawings and verification of leveling **Main Responsibilities of a Grader Operator:** * **Level Control:** Ensures the ground reaches the correct elevation (grade) as specified in the design. * **Machine Guidance:** Supervises motor graders, indicating where to cut or fill soil. * **Marking:** Places stakes and makes physical markings on-site to guide operators. * **Interpretation of Drawings:** Analyzes site plans and topographic drawings. * **Verification:** Checks final compaction and leveling of the surface.
