Ensure all medications used by the hospital are utilized appropriately to fulfill their intended purposes. Ensure dispensing activities comply with institutional regulations. Responsible for supervising all activities conducted in the Chemotherapy Pharmacy. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Validation of chemotherapy prescriptions * Intervention with the clinical staff when necessary * Patient counseling and follow-up for oncology patients * Pharmacovigilance (adverse reactions and technical complaints) * Manipulation of antineoplastic agents * Pharmacotherapeutic anamnesis and follow-up * Supervision of the technical team * Control of PPE and clean area (biological safety cabinet) * Inventory management (control, expiration dates, inventory counts, and critical items) * Medication requisition (standardized and non-standardized) * Communication of supply shortage risks * Participation in audits and inspections * Development and supervision of work schedules * Staff training and capacity building * Proper disposal of waste and medications * Quality management activities and action plans * Support for the Teaching and Research Center * Medication requisition to the Department of Health * Monitoring of court-ordered medications * Document management (HR, Payroll, Occupational Health and Safety) * Interface with procurement and supply departments * Management of investigational drugs (receipt, storage, dispensing, and control) * Randomization and recordkeeping in clinical trials * Monitoring of audits and resolution of pending issues * Execution of related tasks as required **Requirements and Qualifications** MANDATORY TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy; * Specialization in Oncology; * Active Professional Registration – CRF/MG; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
