Is responsible for maintaining organization and complying with good practices. **Substitute Pharmacist** The Substitute Pharmacist is the professional temporarily assuming the responsibilities of the titular pharmacist, ensuring compliance with health, technical, and legal regulations related to pharmaceutical activities. Performs responsible medication dispensing, patient counseling, and supervision of internal pharmacy processes, safeguarding product quality, safety, and efficacy. Key responsibilities include: verifying and releasing medical prescriptions; advising customers and patients on proper medication use; managing inventory; checking expiration dates; tracking orders; recording controlled medications as required by current legislation; and supervising pharmacy attendants and assistants. The role also entails ensuring compliance with Good Storage and Dispensing Practices, maintaining workplace organization, supporting audits and inspections, and reporting any irregularities to legally designated authorities. When required, the Substitute Pharmacist participates in team training, implements process improvements, and contributes to optimizing customer service. A Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, active registration with the Regional Council of Pharmacy (CRF), and familiarity with current health legislation are mandatory. Desirable competencies include responsibility, professional ethics, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proactivity.
