Job Summary: Experienced physiotherapist to work in pediatric units, performing patient assessment, treatment, and follow-up, as well as participating in the training of new professionals. Comprehensive management of patients' physiotherapeutic care Description: * Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy; * Active and up-to-date registration with the Regional Physiotherapy Council; * Postgraduate qualification in Pediatric and Neonatal areas is desirable; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. * Admit and attend inpatients in Pediatric Medicine, Pediatric Surgery, Pediatric Oncology, and Conventional Intermediate Care and Kangaroo Care Units; * Perform medical history taking, physical examination, and kinesiofunctional assessment; * Complete the pedometer sheet and cover sheet upon admission, recording all header information; * Register the patient in the Soul MV system and document the initial assessment; * Provide holistic patient care according to assessment findings and therapeutic planning; * Conduct mechanical ventilator and transport ventilator testing; * Record daily ventilatory parameters, assessments, and interventions per shift in the pedometer sheet, transcribing the most relevant facts onto the cover sheet; * Document daily physiotherapy progress notes in the Soul MV system; * Request materials and supplies for treatment via the Soul MV system, deliver the request to the designated pharmacy, collect the materials from the pharmacy, store them appropriately (physiotherapy supply boxes), and maintain organized storage; * Assess orotracheal tube and tracheostomy tube fixation, performing replacements according to the fixation replacement protocol; * Evaluate the humidification system for respiratory gases, selecting between active or passive humidification; * Perform spontaneous breathing trials, extubation, and ventilator weaning; * Assess and manage initiation of non-invasive ventilation and oxygen therapy; * Manage spontaneous, invasive, and non-invasive ventilation; * Assess readiness for physiotherapy discharge and facilitate care transition; * Participate in bed rounds; * Implement hospital infection control measures; * Document adverse events; * Prepare discharge reports for tracheostomized patients; * Deliver health education; * Supervise and mentor students enrolled in specialization programs and multidisciplinary residencies at the institution, as well as trainees from partner institutions rotating through the Pediatric Medicine, Pediatric Surgery, Pediatric Oncology, and Conventional Intermediate Care and Kangaroo Care Units of Santa Casa BH; * Complete treatment statistics documentation; * Support and train newly hired members of the multidisciplinary team; * Perform other related duties of equivalent complexity upon request by the Physiotherapy Coordinator. 2512040202181841366
