




Job Summary: The pharmacy assistant is responsible for performing operational activities, including receiving, storing, managing inventory, and dispensing medications and medical-hospital supplies. Key Highlights: 1. Responsible for operational activities and inventory control of medications. 2. Dispenses medications and provides support to the multidisciplinary team. 3. Ensures pharmacy cleanliness and organization, and complies with safety regulations. The pharmacy assistant is responsible for performing the pharmacy's operational activities at the unit, including receiving, storing, managing inventory, and dispensing medications and medical-hospital supplies. * Receive, inspect, and store medications and medical-hospital supplies in accordance with current regulations; * Participate in inventory audits; * Conduct cyclic counts of inventory items; * Sort and dispense medications according to medical prescriptions; * Dispense medications and medical-hospital supplies to patients based on system-generated requests; * Provide support to the multidisciplinary team; * Record dispensing of medications and medical-hospital supplies in the IW system; * Maintain pharmacy cleanliness and organization; * Perform product unitization when required, recording it in a dedicated logbook; * Comply with safety regulations, occupational hygiene standards, and Good Storage Practices.
