With a team of **300 physicians and 1,400 staff members**, it operates based on core values: **Excellence, Integrity, Transparency, Sustainability, and Collaboration.** It serves as a referral center for **Oncology (pediatric and adult), Nephrology, Women's Health, and Cleft Lip and Palate**, and ranks as the **2nd best orthopedic hospital in Minas Gerais.** With support from donors and partners, it continues expanding services, modernizing infrastructure, and investing in technology and professional development—all guided by its mission to **provide dignified, respectful care for life.** Hospital da Baleia is seeking a **Clinical Hospital Pharmacist** to join our team. **RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:** * Perform pharmaceutical admission of patients via the system, reviewing prescriptions and contributing to patient safety and quality of care; * Promote pharmacoeconomics by guiding prescribers on the use of standardized medications and safe therapeutic alternatives; * Evaluate and monitor requests for non-standardized medications in accordance with institutional protocols and SUS guidelines; * Guide and supervise pharmacy students in clinical and dispensing activities; * Provide technical support to satellite pharmacies and the multidisciplinary team, clarifying technical questions; * Accompany medical rounds and bedside visits; * Participate in institutional committees (NSP, EMTN, Medical Records, and CFT), contributing to protocol development, standardization, and process improvements; * Monitor and record clinical pharmacy and patient safety indicators; * Develop and deliver training related to medication prescription, use, and administration safety; * Ensure compliance with internal policies, current legislation, and good clinical practice standards; * Support immediate leadership and perform other duties related to the area. **REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:** * Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy * Valid professional registration * Specialization in Clinical Pharmacy preferred * Proficiency in MV system is a plus **WORK LOCATION AND HOURS:** * Location: Bairro da Saudade – Belo Horizonte/MG * Shift worker position: day and night shifts, rotating 12x36 or 8-hour schedules **WHAT WE OFFER:** * Salary + 20% hazard pay * Transportation allowance * Dedicated shuttle service (Baleia Fretado) * Free parking * On-site meals * Flash Card for meals/food allowance * UNIMED health plan – Unifácil * Odontoprev dental plan * Partnership with Araújo Pharmacy * CREDITAS financial partnership * SESC benefits * University partnership programs * Exclusive bazaar * Birthday Day Off Hospital da Baleia values diversity and is committed to inclusion.
