Interaction with global teams during the implementation of new systems **Job Description** **This position requires on-site work in Contagem** **Who will you work with?** Currently, the Onboard Engineering team consists of engineers and analysts who collaboratively engage directly with customers and development teams to understand railway requirements and shape the future of onboard systems for Brazilian railways. **How will you make a difference?** As a member of the PTC onboard team, you will collaborate with customers to implement PTC projects and provide technical support both in the field and in office environments. You will also support failure analysis, defect correction, maintenance control, and customer support activities related to the PTC system. Additionally, you will contribute to developing plans, controls, and performance indicators (KPIs) for PTC projects; assist in drafting and updating PTC onboard system operating procedures and manuals; and interact with Wabtec’s global teams, supporting the implementation of new systems and projects across Brazilian railways. **What do we want to know about you?** * Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related fields, with expected graduation starting December/27; * Technical education in electro-electronics, mechatronics, or related areas is considered a plus; * Ability to understand and interpret electrical and electronic schematics; * Interest in participating in software and hardware testing in operational environments; * Advanced or fluent English proficiency; * Interest in developing system performance indicators and controls; * Strong oral and written communication skills. **What will your day-to-day look like?** * Collaborate with internal and external project teams to support identification and analysis of issues during PTC project implementation; * Support documentation of identified issues, contributing to the preparation of reports and performance control indicators (KPIs); * Work jointly with the systems team to support defining solutions and updates to onboard software for PTC projects; * Participate in developing test plans for validating PTC system operation. **Benefits:** At Wabtec, people come first.
