




**Description:** Laboratory Analyst \- INTERMITTENT \- Concordia Unit **Salary:** 15.70 **Schedule:** INTERMITTENT SCHEDULE **Required:** Bachelor’s degree in Biomedicine/Biology/Pharmacy, legally qualified. **Desirable (an advantage for the candidate, but not mandatory for hiring):** Clinical Biochemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Blood Gas Analysis, and Remote Testing; Quality Control; Familiarity with equipment used in Clinical Laboratory Analysis; Basic computer skills Performs tests and releases results in the system; communicates critical values to physicians; advises physicians, nurses, and other hospital staff; supports pathology technicians’ work in test execution; verifies and signs test results, releasing them to the medical team; checks whether tests sent to support laboratories are completed within the required timeframe; monitors all stages of test execution; participates in training sessions and meetings. Performs pathology technician duties in their absence; conducts laboratory tests; monitors and releases test results according to the patient’s clinical condition; completes spreadsheets with patient data and tests requested from third-party laboratories, prints them for tracking purposes, and emails them to the third-party laboratory; imports tests into ARxApoio; advises physicians, nurses, and other hospital staff; communicates critical results to physicians to guide appropriate clinical actions; supports pathology technicians’ work in test execution; completes daily spreadsheets for traceability and verification of information generated by the department; verifies and signs test results, releasing them to the medical team; generates a daily Pending Report; monitors all stages of test execution; performs daily/weekly/biweekly/monthly preventive maintenance on equipment in the assigned department; carries out internal and external quality control as evaluated by the supervisor; archives raw data (work charts, spreadsheets, reports) from the department; assists with supply requests to the procurement department, receiving and managing materials distributed to the department; tracks reagent opening dates and other necessary supplies; cleans workbenches and equipment; acts as a multiplier, encouraging and sharing technical and scientific knowledge with new employees; actively participates in departmental activities, training sessions, meetings, and guidance as required; complies with safety regulations, environmental controls, internal policies, and applicable legislation relevant to job responsibilities; performs other tasks similar to those described above at the manager’s discretion. 2512190202551727275
