Job Summary: Responsible for safeguarding, preserving, maintaining, and ensuring hygiene and cleanliness of equipment, instruments, and work areas, including waste disposal. Key Highlights: 1. Maintaining hygiene and cleaning equipment and the workplace 2. Managing and disposing of waste and recyclable materials 3. Controlling inventory of cleaning supplies and products **Primary responsibility/role of the position:** Ensure the safeguarding, preservation, maintenance, hygiene, and cleanliness of equipment, instruments, and other materials used, as well as the workplace. Separate recyclable materials for disposal. Perform treatment and disposal of waste materials generated in the workplace. **Description of duties:** Clean glass surfaces. Clean furniture and equipment. Clean surfaces (walls, floors, etc.). Mop floors. Remove dirt and debris. Sweep floors. Dry floors. Wipe floors with a cloth. Clean curtains and blinds. Collect garbage and waste. Control material inventory. Check expiration dates of chemical and cleaning products. Select products and materials. Request equipment and materials from supervisors. Isolate areas for maintenance and cleaning. Operate equipment. Complete forms.
