Maintain organization and hygiene in the workplace About the Position: * Serve customers following the company-defined script, scan merchandise, and collect payment for products and services. * Deliver exceptional service with attentiveness to delight customers at purchase completion. * No prior experience required. Main Responsibilities: * Serve a diverse customer base, paying attention to their specific needs and characteristics, always striving for customer satisfaction; * Perform cash register opening and closing procedures and issue fiscal documents. Open the register by verifying the change left by the previous shift’s cashier operator; unload the machine to prepare it for work; * Clean the checkout area; verify, sort, and organize cash, card slips, and vouchers received from customers to ensure orderly cash register closing; promote campaigns and promotions to customers following the designated script; * Assist customers in organizing merchandise into bags—either customer-provided or provided by the company; * Process product returns at the island or counter in case of customer cancellations. Without leaving your station, request that customers retrieve items to ensure proper preservation and minimize breakage; * Maintain hygiene and organization in your workplace to comply with safety and environmental standards as defined by the company; * Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and code of ethics, including those specific to your department.
