You analyze problems holistically, design feedback loops, and contribute to ecosystems. Amazon’s INTech Latam team is hiring software developers to work at our Software Development Center in Brazil. The INTech Latam team builds new features for Amazon.com (http://amazon.com/) across different countries and develops systems to support Amazon’s operations. You’ll learn how to design, implement, and test highly scalable solutions using AWS cloud platform and its diverse suite of products, in agile and challenging projects, while working alongside top professionals in the field. These groups are organized under the following initiatives: BEN — Black Employee Network, Women@Amazon, Glamazon (LGBTQIA\+), and People with Disabilities. **BASIC QUALIFICATIONS** ------------------------ * Understand and evaluate critical end-to-end applications and assess high-level and low-level designs. * Actively contribute to team technical strategy and be accountable for technical tradeoffs affecting existing applications as well as other applications across Amazon. * 3\+ years of software development experience. * Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: C, C\+\+, C\#, Java, Python, Golang, Kotlin, JavaScript, Clojure. * System design and familiarity with application and database programming on UNIX/Linux. * Experience with Agile/Lean (Kanban, SCRUM, RUP, XP), OO modeling, Web Services, UNIX, and databases. **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** ---------------------------- * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field, or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related disciplines. * Proven track record of developing large-scale solutions in ambiguous environments. * Knowledge of Software Development Life-Cycle models and experience delivering efficient software. * Customer-facing skills, including deep understanding of requirements. * Recommend alternative technical approaches and lead engineering efforts. * Proven history of delivering large, cross-functional projects. * Verbal and written communication skills. * Demonstrated analytical and design skills. * Experience mentoring and training the engineering community on complex technical topics.
