If you are dynamic, determined, and wish to contribute to our company's growth, join RTT! **We have an opportunity for an Intermediate Vulcanizer** Perform maintenance and assembly of conveyor belt systems, ensuring process efficiency and safety. ### **RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:** **Responsibilities:** * Conduct inventory of all required tools, PPEs, materials, and documents prior to task execution. * Prepare the work area, verifying requirements for cranes, scaffolding, cleaning, power supply points, and performing tests with the vulcanizing press. * Develop a Preliminary Risk Analysis (PRA) and ensure proper organization of materials and tools. * Inspect and document workplace safety conditions, including equipment lockout and PPE verification. * Prepare and apply rubber sheets according to specifications, ensuring correct positioning, adhesive application, and inspection for air bubbles between layers. * Perform vulcanization of conveyor belt splices, ensuring rubber layers are correctly applied. * Inspect process quality and correct defects during splice execution. * Strictly follow established procedures and protocols to ensure service quality and workplace safety. * Conduct checklists on all tools and equipment before each activity. * Perform equipment lockout per procedure and ensure only trained personnel carry out this task. * Support preventive maintenance of equipment, such as the vulcanizing press and other tools essential to the process. * Record all performed activities in designated documents, including Work Orders (WO), Preliminary Risk Analyses (PRA), execution reports, and other documents required by the client and RTT. * Ensure traceability of products and materials used, in accordance with the company's health, safety, quality, and environmental standards. * Perform assigned job duties, demonstrating awareness of and contributing to continuous process improvement and full compliance with all procedures related to Health, Safety, Quality, and Environment; Requirements: Academic background: Completed elementary education or currently pursuing an engineering degree. Experience: Prior experience in vulcanization, mining, or steel industry is desirable. Mandatory training/certifications: Refer to training matrix.
