Recording of activities and service orders in an information system * **Apply on our Careers Page:** **https://atracaodetalentos.totvs.app/carreirasitaminas/32/mecanico\-de\-manutencao** **Job Description** Responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair of components and equipment in mineral processing plants, thereby ensuring their safe and efficient operation to avoid production stoppages, directly contributing to asset reliability, availability, and operational continuity. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Install, inspect, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment such as: crushers, vibrating screens, belt conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, magnetic separators, and hydrocyclones. * Replace and adjust mechanical components (bearings, shafts, pulleys, tensioners, and belts). * Perform welding for structural and mechanical repairs as required by operational needs. * Assemble and adjust water and slurry piping systems, ensuring sealing and system integrity. * Interpret technical drawings and maintenance manuals for proper disassembly and reassembly. * Work on hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and conveyor belts. * Record activities, anomalies, and service orders in the computerized maintenance management system. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed High School education. * Prior experience in industrial mechanical maintenance and lubrication routines. * Knowledge of mechanical assembly and adjustments, and basic interpretation of technical drawings. **Desirable Requirements** * Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic systems, diesel engines, and conveyor belts. * Experience with oil analysis, contamination control, and predictive maintenance programs. * Knowledge of failure analysis. * Industrial lubrication practices and operation of automated systems.
