Opportunity for self-development and learning **Learn more about this opportunity** If you focus on customers and innovation, make decisions openly and transparently, appreciate and foster a respectful work environment, work multidisciplinarily, collaboratively, pragmatically, and with a results orientation while assuming responsibility for delivery, learn more about our **Foreign Trade Assistant** position. **Important job details:** * Work location: Contagem\- MG * Working hours: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM * Employment type: Permanent * Work modality: Hybrid **Responsibilities:** * Assist in coordinating with the Production department regarding the goods’ readiness date and with international suppliers to schedule shipments. * Schedule cargo dispatch (generating shipments and requesting transportation) and schedule receiving (negotiating daily receiving capacity for trucks or trains arriving from ports). * Monitor suppliers (Customs Broker, Port Terminal, Freight Forwarder, and Transport Companies) to ensure customs clearance, consolidating necessary information for domestic transportation and timely receipt. * Verify and complete export/import documentation (e.g., commercial invoice, packing list, tax invoice) to facilitate clearance by the Federal Revenue Service and international agencies. * Track cargo delivery to the final destination according to the Incoterm of the sale, ensuring customer or requesting department requirements are met. * Perform other related tasks within foreign trade and management processes, as directed by immediate supervisor. * Verify and record payments for export/import expenses, freight charges, and other costs in the SA system. * Support senior professionals in processes relevant to the role, leveraging their experience for self-development. * Assist in implementing departmental work plans and procedures, executing and monitoring required technical actions to achieve established goals and targets. **Required knowledge and skills:** * Completed high school education; * Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; * Dynamic and proactive profile, with interest in international trade and logistics, willingness to learn, collaborative attitude, and strong professional demeanor. **Preferred qualifications:** * Intermediate English and Spanish; * Currently pursuing a university degree or technical course in Logistics.
