Job Summary: The Tax Assistant supports the tax department in ensuring compliance with tax obligations, calculating taxes, and organizing tax documents. Key Highlights: 1. Responsible for calculating taxes and submitting ancillary tax declarations 2. Assisting customers and suppliers in clarifying tax-related questions 3. Analyzing and interpreting tax legislation **Position: Tax Assistant** A Tax Assistant is responsible for supporting the tax department in fulfilling the company's tax obligations, ensuring accurate tax calculations, timely submission of ancillary tax declarations, and proper organization of tax documents. **Responsibilities:** * Recording, verifying, and managing incoming, outgoing, and service invoices. * Calculating direct and indirect taxes (ICMS, IPI, ISS, PIS, COFINS, IRPJ, CSLL, among others). * Preparing and filing ancillary tax obligations (SPED Fiscal, SPED Contributions, EFD-Reinf, DCTF, among others). * Analyzing and interpreting tax legislation. * Supporting audits and tax inspections. * Maintaining digital and physical archives of tax documents. * Assisting customers and suppliers in clarifying tax-related questions. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Degree in Accounting Sciences, Business Administration, or related fields (currently pursuing or completed). * Knowledge of tax and fiscal legislation. * Experience in tax calculation and submission of ancillary tax obligations. * Familiarity with ERP systems and accounting software. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. * Organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactivity. * Experience in an accounting firm. * Knowledge of systems such as Domínio. * Participation in tax update courses.
