**Prerequisites – Purchasing Intern** **Segment:** Transportation / Logistics **Field of Study:** Administration or Production Engineering Shift: Preferably afternoon shift, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM. **Academic Requirements** * Currently enrolled in **Administration or Production Engineering** * Expected graduation date starting from **2028\.** * Availability for a **30-hour-per-week internship.** **Technical Knowledge:** * Basic knowledge of **administrative processes** * Familiarity with **procurement, logistics, or supply chain** * Intermediate proficiency in **Microsoft Office Suite**, with focus on: * + **Excel** (tables, basic formulas, data management, and reporting) * Familiarity with **purchase order control, quotations, and supplier follow-up** * Basic knowledge of **ERP systems** (e.g., SAP, Totvs, Protheus, or similar) is desirable **Desirable Knowledge for the Transportation Segment** * Interest in or familiarity with **transportation-related procurement**, such as: * + Fuels and lubricants + Vehicle parts and fleet maintenance + Tires, mechanical services, and operational supplies * Basic understanding of **operational cost control** * Familiarity with **fiscal documents (NF\-e, purchase orders, simple contracts)** is desirable **Behavioral Competencies** * **Organization and attention to detail** * Strong **verbal and written communication skills** * **Analytical mindset**, with ease handling numbers and controls * **Proactivity and willingness to learn** * Ability to work in teams and manage operational demands * Responsibility and commitment to deadlines **Activities the Intern Will Support** * Support in **supplier quotation and negotiation processes** * Control and monitoring of **purchase orders** * Updating **supplier registries and control spreadsheets** * Administrative support for demands from the **purchasing and fleet departments** * Assistance in analyzing **operational costs and basic performance indicators** **Advantages** * Academic or professional experience in **logistics, transportation, or procurement** * Extracurricular courses in **Excel, Logistics, Procurement, or Supply Chain** * Interest in working in the **transportation and operations segment**
