Summary: Google is seeking a versatile software engineer to develop next-generation technologies, work on critical projects for Google's needs, and contribute to the Search Content Platform. Make an impact on billions of people globally within Google Search. **Please submit your resume in English \- we can only consider applications submitted in this language.** ### **Minimum qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. * 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree. * 1 year of experience with one or more of the following: Speech/audio (e.g., technology duplicating and responding to the human voice), reinforcement learning (e.g., sequential decision making), ML infrastructure, or specialization in another ML field. * 1 year of experience with ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, optimization, data processing, debugging). ### **Preferred qualifications:** * Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field. * 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms. * Experience developing accessible technologies. **About the job** ----------------- Google's software engineers develop the next\-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another. Search Content Platform (SCP) brings together structured and semi structured knowledge, embeddings, and content from the web, feeds, images and videos, all organized and streamlined to enable the idea of one standardized content platform that is bigger than the sum of the parts, moving content in Search from a fragmented ecosystem with disparate sources into an organized, more standardized, distributed content platform. In joining the Search team, you'll have an opportunity to make an impact on billions of people globally. **Responsibilities** -------------------- * Be responsible for building parts of Google SCP Multimodal Content and Creator Understanding roadmap. * Design and implement data processing technical (AI\-first) solutions at Google scale. * Write and test product or system development code. * Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies. * Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
