You will join the Lean Manufacturing team, responsible for process improvement in new locomotive production and repaired items. You will work in a collaborative and dynamic environment with strong interface with manufacturing, quality, materials, and process departments. You will have direct contact with the entire Supply Chain structure and receive training in problem-solving with Lean Sensei. How will you make a difference? As an intern, you will have the opportunity to follow new projects and lead improvements in manufacturing processes and administrative systems. You will assist in project management, support the factory’s 5S program, support the Kaizen program, and assist in implementing Lean culture. Your ability to communicate effectively with all audiences—manufacturing and administrative—your teamwork skills, proactivity, initiative, and autonomy will be essential to success. What do we want to know about you? * Currently pursuing an Engineering degree with expected graduation starting from 2027. * Intermediate English proficiency; * Strong communication skills; * Creativity in problem-solving; * Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel). What will your day-to-day look like? * Assist in implementing continuous improvement projects in operational and administrative areas; * Assist in developing and implementing operational KPIs for operational control and establishing mechanisms such as Routine Management; * Lead root-cause-focused problem-solving discussions using the A3 tool; * Assist in executing and documenting Kaizens; * Conduct process mapping to ensure information flow, productivity improvements, and process standardization; * Conduct 5S audits.
