Adds chemicals to the process according to established procedures to remove substances and impurities from water, complying with current environmental legislation. Performs operational activities in accordance with current legislation to meet necessary requirements for ensuring proper equipment functionality. Operates and controls the Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant, actuating valves and control panels, and adding chemicals. Packages, handles, and stores industrial waste in accordance with applicable regulations and procedures. Provides support for corrective and preventive maintenance required for equipment within the operational area. Organizes machinery. Collects samples of dredged material, weighs samples, and measures % solids in graduated cylinders. Adjusts dosage, handles, and prepares polymers.
