Job Summary: Hospital da Baleia is seeking a Laboratory Technical Assistant to perform patient care, specimen collection, organization, and related tasks in its Clinical Laboratory. Hospital da Baleia is looking for a **Laboratory Technical Assistant** to join our **Clinical Laboratory team**! **RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:** * Patient Care and Specimen Collection * Attend to internal and external clients, clarifying questions regarding examinations. * Sanitize workbenches and specimen collection kits, maintaining workplace organization. * Request necessary supplies and dispose of biological materials per established protocols. * Keep the specimen collection room and collection kits organized. * Carry out pre\-analytical procedures and instruct patients on specimen collection. * Complete re\-collection forms and deliver examination results. * Assist in verifying materials and medical orders. * Label hemodialysis collection tubes and maintain document archives. * Maintain materials and equipment in accordance with safety regulations. * Perform other related duties as requested by immediate supervisor. * Verify medical orders and issue registration labels for samples. * Collect biological specimens (venous and arterial puncture) and ensure correct identification and traceability. **REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:** * Completed high school education; * Completed or currently enrolled in a Clinical Laboratory / Pathology Technician program; * Hospital or laboratory experience preferred. **WORK LOCATION AND SCHEDULE:** * Location: Bairro da Saudade \- Belo Horizonte/MG. * Shifts: 12x36 daytime shift, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM **WHAT WE OFFER:** * Transportation allowance; * Dedicated shuttle service (Especial Fretado do Baleia); * Free parking; * On\-site meals; * Flash Card for meals / food allowance; * UNIMED health insurance plan – Unifácil; * Odontoprev dental insurance plan; * Partnership with Araújo Pharmacy; * CREDITAS financial services agreement; * SESC membership benefits; * University partnership agreements; * Exclusive bazaar; * Birthday Day Off Hospital da Baleia values diversity and is committed to inclusion.
