An Accounting Assistant is a professional who supports the company's accounting department by assisting in organizing, recording, and analyzing financial documents.
* Perform daily accounting entries in accordance with the chart of accounts and nature of transactions,
* Classify and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts,
* Support the preparation of trial balances, financial statements, and monthly/annual closings,
* Execute bank reconciliations and verify discrepancies for adjustments,
* Maintain control, organization, and filing of accounting documents,
* Assist with accounting ledger entries in accounting systems (Domínio Sistemas),
* Provide support to the accounting team in closing routines, accruals, allocations, and analyses,
* Support complementary accounting activities as required by the department,
* And other tasks assigned by management.
