Job Summary: This position involves installing total stations, performing field surveying procedures, and operating surveying equipment and tools. Key Highlights: 1. Installation and operation of surveying equipment such as total stations and GPS 2. Conducting surveys, topographic surveys, and layout work 3. Use of technical terminology and specialized surveying tools Responsibilities: Install tripods with total stations; support the surveyor by performing field procedures with their specific characteristics and details during surveys, topographic surveys, and layout work — including codes such as PÉ, CRISTA, and many other essential and survey-specific codes. Use specialized terms such as axis, alignment, level, section, alignment, backsight, foresight, station, etc. Operate/operate equipment including total stations, GPS, and others, as well as tools such as rods, prisms, machetes, billhooks, files, ranging poles, rulers, scales, levels, tape measures, umbrellas, sledgehammers, push rods, and accessories such as stakes and pegs. Practice genuine, proactive safety awareness. Apply knowledge of metrology.
