Job Summary: The professional will operate and program three-dimensional machines, perform measurements, and prepare technical reports, providing technical support and guidance to users, ensuring compliance with technical standards and interpretation of engineering drawings. Key Highlights: 1. Operate and program three-dimensional machines and perform conventional measurements. 2. Prepare technical reports and compliance records, supporting other departments. 3. We are seeking a Metrology or Mechanical Technician proficient in measurement instruments. **Responsibilities:** * Operate and program three-dimensional machines; * Perform conventional measurements (e.g., calipers, micrometers, etc.); * Prepare technical reports and compliance records; * Provide technical support to production, quality, and engineering departments; * Support and guide users on the correct use, handling, and storage of measurement instruments; * Conduct tests, inspections, and analyses on metrological systems; * Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance of measurement equipment; * Ensure compliance with applicable technical and quality standards; * Interpret engineering drawings and dimension parts to ensure accuracy in production processes. **Requirements:** * Technical education in Metrology, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields; * Proficiency in using conventional instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, height gauges, dial indicators, etc.); * Experience operating three-dimensional measuring machines, portable coordinate measuring arms, and laser trackers; * Familiarity with metrology software such as PC\-Dmis, PolyWorks, etc.; * Ability to interpret engineering drawings and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDT) concepts. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Knowledge of technical standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF16949, ISO/IEC 17025\); * Experience with Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA) studies. **Location: Contagem/MG** This position is exclusively for candidates aged 18 years or older.
