The **Geotechnical Team** requires a **Senior Geotechnical Engineer** to perform the following activities: * Technically supervise project development, guiding the team at all stages to ensure quality and flawless execution. * Participate in technical meetings with clients and the team before and during project and construction execution, enabling clarifications and alignment of information for both parties. * Monitor delivery deadlines, tracking the schedule established at the beginning of the project, ensuring adherence to timelines. * Conduct field visits to client sites to verify local conditions for project development. * Develop geotechnical models (stability, seepage, stress/deformation) for dams, slopes, piles, and other structures using specialized software to size the project. * Design internal drainage systems for dams, piles, and slopes using software and spreadsheets, providing the project with necessary information. * Analyze laboratory and field geotechnical test data, consolidating information to generate a final report. * Assess dam liquefaction susceptibility based on laboratory and field geotechnical test data. * Conduct dam safety audits in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. * Guide the team in establishing project criteria and standards, ensuring compliance with national and international standards. * Prepare technical reports, quantity take-off spreadsheets, and technical specifications according to project standards and procedures. * Review the final version of the project, verifying all documents generated during execution (reports, drawings, spreadsheets, etc.) to ensure compliance with all established criteria and standards. * Serve as the Technical Responsible (RT) for assigned projects, ensuring correct project execution and compliance with legislation. * Provide technical responsibility for construction documents prepared, both quantitatively and qualitatively, and draft, write, and review project reports. * Support the development of project quality procedures and monitor their proper implementation and application. * Safely operate motor vehicles for both the client and DF\+ Engineering. * Perform duties off-site when required, representing the company ethically and respectfully. * Ensure quality, reliability, confidentiality, and performance of resources, services, and information generated by tasks under their responsibility. * Maintain company assets, requesting maintenance, repair, and/or replacement whenever necessary. * Support immediate leadership on matters related to their area of expertise, presenting and discussing problems and irregularities to assist in defining appropriate procedures and actions. * Comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations, performing activities in accordance with company policies. * Execute actions promoting continuous improvement of process and organizational performance. * Follow specific procedures relevant to their activities. * Perform related duties at the discretion of immediate leadership. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; * Specialization, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering; * Registration with CREA; * Experience in geotechnical projects; * Proficiency in GeoStudio and/or Slide software; * Proficiency in AutoCAD; * Driver’s License Category B; **Desirable:** * Experience in geotechnical projects. * Experience in numerical modeling, with familiarity with Plaxis and RS2 software. * Experience in dam projects. * Experience in geotechnical projects applied to mining. * Experience in dam safety audits. **Our work model is hybrid, with 3 days per week onsite and 2 days remote. Weekly working hours: 40.**
