· Handle product distribution logistics by maintaining contact with carriers, discussing prices and tariffs, quoting new service providers, etc., aiming to speed up the process. · Coordinate the team of delivery drivers. · Issue outgoing invoices and incoming return merchandise invoices; · Manage in-house drivers and truckers, scheduling loads and monitoring them throughout the duration of the freight. · Monitor drivers and truckers during trips regarding delivery issues, fueling, and/or tolls. Resolve problems together with the sales department or responsible party. · Conduct trip settlements upon drivers' return; · Prepare and issue reports, charts, and maps demonstrating the performance and services provided by the department for review and control by superiors. Attend to management requests within the scope of your work.
