




**Description:** 1\- Specialist Qualification Registration (RQE) with the Regional Medical Council as an Anesthesiologist, or application protocol for such registration; OR 2\- Certificate or title of specialization in Anesthesiology recognized by the Brazilian Society of Anesthesiology; OR 3\- Certificate and/or statement confirming completion—or expected completion by March 2026—of a Medical Residency Program in Anesthesiology issued by a hospital accredited by the Ministry of Education (MEC). Administer anesthesia for surgeries and specialized examinations by delivering anesthetic agents to alleviate suffering in patients undergoing intensive procedures and to enable the performance of such examinations and surgical interventions; Identify the mechanisms and etiopathogenesis of surgical patients, applying knowledge of Physiology and Pharmacology to determine and implement the most appropriate anesthetic techniques and available treatments for each case; Conduct outpatient preoperative consultations and perform visits or interconsultations upon request from other clinical departments for pre-anesthetic evaluation; Recognize and manage critically ill or severely ill patients, ensuring meticulous handover of care to intensive therapy units and performing intra-hospital transport when necessary; Diagnose and treat acute and chronic pain; Collaborate in emergency and urgent care provided by other clinical departments when requested, especially regarding airway management; Report any technical, operational, or interpersonal difficulties—whether with patients or with colleagues and staff—to immediate supervisors; Perform procedures while maintaining direct and effective communication with involved Surgeons and Nursing teams; Respond to requests from hospital operational departments; Report adverse events and health-related incidents; Support clinical teams during catastrophes/pandemics; Observe ethical principles throughout the execution of duties; Participate in collegiate bodies when requested, contributing to discussions and resolutions on relevant matters; Assist in collecting information, monitoring, and achieving indicators and targets outlined in departmental action plans; Comply with institutional requests to serve as Preceptor, Tutor, Instructor, and/or Coordinator in teaching activities; Participate—alongside the multidisciplinary team—in meetings, committees, health surveillance programs, biosafety initiatives, hospital epidemiology, and accident prevention efforts, contributing as required within the scope of professional competence; Support hospital coordinators on matters inherent to the area of practice by proposing and discussing solutions to problems and irregularities, thereby aiding decision-making on required actions and supporting continuous improvement of departmental processes; Participate in developing and refining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), applying them in daily practice; Participate in—or facilitate, as needed—continuing education activities in accordance with institutional policy and within the scope of professional responsibilities; Ensure proper care of materials and equipment under personal responsibility to extend their service life; Perform work observing occupational safety requirements, correctly using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in all activities, complying with current legislation and institutional regulations; Support immediate supervisors on matters inherent to the area of practice by proposing and discussing solutions to problems and irregularities, thereby aiding decision-making on required actions and supporting continuous improvement of departmental processes; Perform other related tasks of equivalent complexity upon request from the immediate supervisor. 2512040202181005587
