We are seeking a Bar Manager to work in a restaurant with high service standards, ensuring organization, smooth operations, and excellence in the beverage experience, as well as managing the bartender team. Responsibilities and Duties * Ensure the bar’s organization, cleanliness, ambiance, and professional presentation. * Prepare and monitor beverage requisitions in coordination with the inventory clerk and procurement manager. * Manage beverage inventory, ensuring accuracy, turnover rate, and proper storage. * Monitor and update loss, breakage, and waste spreadsheets, aiming to minimize waste. * Comply with and enforce all restaurant procedures, rules, technical sheets, and calculations (e.g., COGS, standard portioning, cost sheets, etc.). * Daily oversight of the bar’s opening, operational, and closing checklists, ensuring all items are completed. * Manage the bartender team, including: * Task assignment; * Performance monitoring; * Feedback and development. * Develop and manage the bar team’s work schedule, aligned with the restaurant’s demand. * Conduct technical and behavioral training for bartenders (service standards, demeanor, appearance, service delivery, etc.). * Possess in-depth knowledge of mixology to: * Create new original cocktails; * Maintain and evolve the restaurant’s cocktail menu; * Ensure harmony with the restaurant’s concept. * Collaborate closely with the kitchen, dining room, and management to ensure an integrated customer experience. Requirements and Qualifications * Prior experience as a Bar Manager or in a leadership role within a bar setting. * Expertise in mixology (classics, originals, preparation techniques, ingredients, syrups, infusions, etc.). * Knowledge of beverage inventory, loss, and cost control. * Ability to lead, train, and develop a team. * Strong organizational skills, discipline, and results orientation. * Excellent communication, professional demeanor, and alignment with high-end service standards.
