Job Summary: Professional responsible for performing gravity casting of aluminum parts, including furnace control, alloy treatment, and part finishing. Key Highlights: 1. Gravity casting operation for aluminum parts. 2. Furnace temperature control and alloy treatment. 3. Operational maintenance of furnaces and preparation of molds. **Responsibilities:** \- Perform gravity casting services for parts by feeding mold machines with aluminum, controlling furnace temperature via electronic panel to maintain the optimal temperature for part production as specified. \- Feed the furnace with ingots and master alloys (AI\-87% and Si\-13%); \- Perform alloy treatment by adding grain refiner, degasser, slag remover, and modifier; \- Remove ash from the furnace to keep it clean; \- Conduct operational maintenance of casting furnaces, replacing the crucible and refractory spout when necessary; \- Perform installation, maintenance, and preparation of molds (applying mold release agent when required); \- Occasionally perform part finishing using grinders and saws to remove excess material; \- Occasionally operate overhead cranes (when trained and authorized) to transport parts. **Requirements:** * High school diploma or equivalent * Grinder * Metallurgy (knowledge of material alloys) * Saw operation Employment type: Full-time, Direct Hire (CLT) Compensation: R$3\.616,80 per month Selection question(s): * Do you have experience in aluminum casting?
