Job Summary: Responsible for aluminum gravity casting of parts, including furnace charging, alloy treatment, and operational maintenance. Key Highlights: 1. Operate aluminum gravity casting 2. Perform alloy treatment and maintenance 3. Use grinders and saws for part finishing **Responsibilities:** \- Perform gravity casting of parts by charging molds with aluminum, controlling furnace temperature via electronic panel to maintain optimal temperature for part production as specified. \- Charge the furnace with ingots and master alloys (AI\-87% and Si\-13%); \- Treat the alloy by adding refiner, degasser, slag remover, and modifier; \- Remove ash from the furnace to keep it clean; \- Perform operational maintenance on casting furnaces, replacing crucibles and refractory nozzles as needed; \- Perform maintenance, installation, and preparation of molds (applying mold release agent when necessary); \- Occasionally perform part finishing using grinders and saws to remove excess material; \- Occasionally operate overhead cranes (when trained and authorized) to transport parts **Requirements**: * Completed high school education * Grinder operation * Metallurgy (knowledge of material alloys) * Saw operation Employment type: Full-time, Direct Hire (CLT) Compensation: R$3\.616,80 per month Selection question(s): * Do you have experience with aluminum casting?
