Requirements: * Strong experience in procurement and contracts for mining projects. * Knowledge of Lean methodologies and continuous improvement. * Fluent English (Spanish preferred). * Proactive, collaborative, and results\-oriented profile. * Assist the project in the development of sourcing strategies, taking into consideration project location, size and technical characteristics, production costs, transportation lead times, quality and other risks specific to each sourcing country * Develop effective sourcing risk mitigation strategies and control plan * Ensure that the project capital procurement decisions can be made based on well planned procurement strategies * Develop a recommended supplier list for the project and identify the supplier assessment requirements (supplier capability validation, quality system in place, facilities, etc.) * Assist with drafting of purchasing and contracting strategies including possible price basis and supplier selection strategies to be included in the Project Execution Plan (PEP) * Assist Purchasing Lead with the finalized bidders list by package according to sourcing optimization (on\-going updates of supplier database and the global sourcing team) * Assist Purchasing Lead with the prequalification process by raising supplier alerts, if Any * Supervise the effective capture of supplier knowledge data with regards to prequalification, bidding performance evaluation, execution performance evaluation, and purchase order/contract characteristics (content, value, etc.) If you have a passion for challenges and want to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment, this opportunity is for you! As a Field Leader Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering best\-in\-class execution of field projects at customer sites, with scopes that involve the refurbishment of mining equipment, including thickeners, filters, crushers, HPGRs, mills, and more. About the Field Services Team You will be part of the Brazil Field Services team, responsible for delivering first\-class services 24/7\. Your responsibilities* Lead the execution of field projects at customer sites, with scopes involving the refurbishment of mining equipment such as thickeners, filters, crushers, HPGRs, mills, etc. * Coordinate the recruitment and mobilization of direct and indirect labor, as well as third\-party resources required for project execution. * Lead multi\-tasks teams and resources to ensure successful contract delivery. * Ensure full compliance with company safety standards and policies. * Monitor and ensure adherence to the contractual schedule. * Guarantee full delivery of all contractual obligations. * Control project costs and ensure expected profitability. * Maintain proper documentation and records throughout the project lifecycle. * Coordinate with internal departments to support contract execution. * Foster effective communication and a strong relationship with the customer. * Prepare and submit field administrative reports and project documents. * Responsibilities include strong leadership across projects, working independently with minimal supervision, while delegating and reviewing tasks of execution teams. What you bring* 10 years of experience leading field refurbishment/assembly of mining equipment; * Strong field leadership and communication skills * Availability to travel up to 90% of the time in the field/customers sites. * Strong interpersonal skills. * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with an active CREA registration. * Postgraduate degree/project management is desirable. * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Tools (MS Office, MS project, Outlook, Primavera etc). * Solid written and verbal communication skills. * Team player \& strong work ethics and integrity.
