With a team of **300 physicians and 1\.400 staff members**, it operates based on values such as **Excellence, Integrity, Transparency, Sustainability, and Collaboration.** It is a reference center for **Oncology (pediatric and adult), Nephrology, Women's Health, and Cleft Lip and Palate**, and ranks as the **2nd best orthopedic hospital in Minas Gerais.** With support from donors and partners, it continues expanding services, modernizing infrastructure, and investing in technology and staff training—all driven by its mission to **care with dignity and respect for life.** **Your Challenges with Us:** Process healthcare products according to instructions and specifications provided by the responsible nurse, performing all activities related to processing operations while observing applicable norms and procedures, aiming to optimize controls, ensure appropriate use of material resources, and maintain service quality standards. * Support nurses in technical assessments regarding materials, equipment, and technologies used in work processes, ensuring their effectiveness; * Clean and disinfect workstations, maintaining records of performed operations; * Receive, inspect, and register surgical instruments on the appropriate form, perform pre\-cleaning and drying of respiratory assistance materials, and forward them to thermal disinfection or sterilization; * Replace and/or mark ventilatory assistance instruments and materials using dedicated instrument supplies, following specific procedures; * Record temperature and humidity control for Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) work environments per shift; * Verify daily expiration dates of sterilized materials, separating and forwarding expired items for reprocessing; * Receive, sort, inspect, assemble, package, and identify cleaned surgical instruments, respiratory materials, and surgical linens; * Receive, inspect, fold, pack, and identify surgical linens from the laundry, ensuring process compliance; * Load and unload autoclaves and thermal disinfectors according to specific procedures; * Load and unload respiratory materials from dryers; * Monitor sterilization and thermal disinfection cycle parameters, reporting deviations to the immediate supervisor; * Operate and interpret quality tests conducted at each sterilization stage per current sector legislation, maintaining relevant records; * Package and distribute materials after sterilization; * Stay updated on standards, routines, protocols, and technical and administrative procedures through participation in continuing nursing education or related development programs; * Safeguard materials and equipment under one's responsibility and used in job performance; * Perform tasks observing occupational safety and behavioral standards, properly using PPEs and complying with current legislation and internal policies; * Perform other related duties upon request from the immediate supervisor. **Requirements and Qualifications:** * Completed technical course with active COREN registration; * Experience in Central Sterile Supply Department (CME). **Location and Work Schedule:** * Hospital da Baleia. * Neighborhood: Saudade, Belo Horizonte. * Positions: 12x36 daytime shift, 09:00 to 21:00\. **What We Offer:** * Remuneration: R$ 2\.066,59 \+ minimum wage supplement \+ 20% hazard pay \+ 20% CME allowance. * Transportation Benefit; * Dedicated Baleia Shuttle Service; * Free Parking; * On-site Meals; * Flash Meal/Meal Card; * UNIMED Health Plan – Unifácil; * Odontoprev Dental Plan; * Partnership with Araújo Pharmacy; * CREDITAS Agreement; * SESC Agreement; * University Partnerships; * Exclusive Bazaar; * Birthday Day Off Hospital da Baleia values diversity and is committed to inclusion. **All our positions are open to persons with disabilities.** If you share our mission and wish to contribute to the health of Minas Gerais, we want you on our team! **\#movimentopelavida** Job Type: Permanent CLT Compensation: R$2\.066,00 per month Selection Question(s): * How much experience do you have in CME, and at which institutions?
