As a Mining or Geology Technician, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in projects related to water resource management and hydrogeological studies. You will work closely with our team of experts, contributing to the development of sustainable solutions primarily focused on water management in mining and environmental contexts. ** Responsibilities** **When in the Field:** * Supervise field testing activities, including infiltration tests, spring registration, water loss tests, and pumping tests. * Prepare daily field reports. * Ensure quality and safety during field activities in accordance with project standards. * Conduct risk analyses for field activities. * Supervise water sample collection. * Perform field inspections and task analyses, communicating findings to other staff members. * Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations. * Assist in the installation and monitoring of field measurement equipment. * Document and report any problems or inconsistencies identified during operations. **When in the Office:** * Verify and compile data. * Use computer resources such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. * Perform other tasks of similar nature and complexity associated with the organizational environment. * Assist in preparing and verifying the functionality of required equipment. * Support other hydrogeology department projects. * Participate in meetings and prepare presentations of reports and results. Requirements * Completed technical education in Environmental Science/Mining or Geology * Driver's License Category B — 2 years of experience (4x4 experience preferred) * Availability for travel * Residency in Belo Horizonte (BH) On-site position in Belo Horizonte — Serra neighborhood
