Shipping Supervisor

Description

* Prepare reports, monitor and fill in performance indicators, supervise areas and personnel, handle receiving and shipping, verify fiscal invoices, manage inventory, freight, lead and plan logistics department activities—including transportation, machinery, equipment, materials, and general services. Supervise the logistics area and distribution center (CD) operations; guide the team during loading; perform load planning; design logistics processes and routing; define technology and infrastructure to support production processes; develop and implement procedures for time and activity control, manifests, waybills; collaborate with internal customers and suppliers to resolve operational loading issues; supervise and guide the logistics/shipping team; ensure periodic stock inventories are conducted; ensure team safety in the workplace and proper use of PPEs; and perform other duties pertinent to the position.
